Title: Supply Chain Analyst I
Location: Ladson, SC 29456
Job Description:
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Role Summary:
The manager is looking for an analytical professional with a background in supply chain, advanced Excel skills, and ideally PowerBI and Oracle experience. This role focuses on data mining, system updates, and serving as the central point of contact for capturing and consolidating supply plan updates across all planning groups to ensure the Oracle system aligns with current promise dates.
Main Responsibilities:
Promise Date & Oracle Alignment:
Capture recurring supply plan updates across planning groups and ensure accurate entry into Oracle.
Align Oracle data (promise dates, order quantities, supply commitments) with supplier/planning group inputs.
Identify and resolve discrepancies; perform root cause analysis on missed or shifted promise dates.
Maintain consistent communication with planning groups, materials planners, and buyers.
Participate in supply/production review meetings as the data alignment representative.
Reporting & Dashboard Enhancement:
Maintain and enhance Excel templates for tracking supply plans, promise date monitoring, and escalations.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards pulling from Oracle/Excel sources to visualize supply status and trend analysis.
Standardize and automate recurring reports to reduce manual prep time for leadership decks.
Generate and distribute regular status reports to key stakeholders.
Data Integration & Process Improvement:
Support integration of data into Power BI or other BI tools for real-time visibility.
Perform data integrity checks to ensure reporting accuracy before leadership reviews.
Streamline intake processes and maintain a single source-of-truth tracker for Oracle and reporting.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual touchpoints and data lag.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in supply chain, materials planning, or production control.
Intermediate level work experience in the field.
Experience with Oracle or similar large-scale ERP/MRP systems required.
Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, data validation, reporting).
Excellent attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfortable interfacing cross-functionally.
Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven cadence.
Preferred Skills:
Experience building or maintaining Power BI dashboards.
Experience in a manufacturing or automotive supply chain environment.
Education & Compliance:
High school diploma or equivalent secondary education/work experience.
Position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
