Role description
Role: Supply chain / Data Analyst (Manufacturing , supply chain, Expeditor, inventory, procurement, and logistics data)
Location: Cincinnati OH (45069)-Onsite
Term: Contract
The Expeditor & Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, tracking supplier performance, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing supply chain data to support operational efficiency. This role combines expediting activities with data-driven insights to improve supply chain performance and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Collect, validate, and analyze supply chain, inventory, procurement, and logistics data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Excel any BI tools.
• Analyze the gaps - supplier performance, delivery metrics, and procurement trends.
• Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
• Generate forecasts related to demand, inventory, and supply planning.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across supply chain systems.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery delays.
• Track shipment status and proactively communicate risks and issues.
• Follow up on overdue orders and expedite critical materials as required.
• Maintain accurate order tracking and delivery records.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation and receipt of goods.
• Support inventory management by identifying potential stock shortages and excess inventory
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Expediting, or Data Analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
