Supply Chain Data Analyst A top-tier firm seeks a Supply Chain Data Analyst to support its procurement division. In this role, you will analyze data metrics and shape sourcing strategies by transforming market intelligence into actionable plans that optimize vendor performance. Responsibilities • Evaluate procurement data to identify market shifts, benchmarks, and best practices. • Formulate total cost of ownership models and perform spend-critical assessments. • Analyze supply market dynamics, evaluate new suppliers, and find cost-saving areas. • Create sourcing evaluation frameworks, negotiation tools, and supplier scorecards. • Outline current and future state processes to enhance organizational workflows. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or category optimization. • Finance or Engineering background with advanced analytical capabilities. • Proficiency in visualization and data tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx, SQL). • Strong project management skills (creating project plans, Gantt charts, etc.). • Solid grasp of strategic sourcing lifecycle (RFP/RFI, vendor selection, pricing). • Experience with market index pricing, risk assessments, and SWOT evaluations. • US authorization required (no sponsorship available). Preferred • Experience in the rail sector or leading supply chain environments. • Degree in a technical/business track (Engineering, CS, Finance, Economics). Schedule & Location: Hybrid model requiring 4 days onsite weekly in Midtown Atlanta. Duration: 12+ month contract with a high potential for permanent conversion.
