Role description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to support demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and customer collaboration activities within a fast-paced Home Appliance business environment.
This role serves as a key liaison between Supply Chain, Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and customer planning teams to ensure operational excellence, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and successful product lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced reporting capabilities, and hands-on experience with CPFR, demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
• Lead CPFR and forecasting activities with customer planning teams.
• Conduct weekly customer meetings to review forecasts, inventory levels, and service expectations.
• Analyze forecast trends and recommend actions to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Manage sell-in and sell-through forecasting processes.
• Support inventory planning initiatives aligned with Weeks of Supply (WOS) targets.
Supply Chain Operations
• Manage demand and supply chain operations for key customer accounts.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Support order management and supply chain execution processes.
• Manage product lifecycle transitions, including inventory planning for product launches and end-of-life products.
• Coordinate Direct Ship and Import program activities.
Analytics & Reporting
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting for leadership teams.
• Analyze inventory, forecast, order, and supply chain performance data.
• Utilize Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, and other analytical tools to identify trends and opportunities.
• Generate actionable insights and predictive analytics to improve business performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Planning teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer supply chain and operations teams.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Coordinate projects and reporting requirements across multiple business functions.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years of Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Inventory Management experience.
• Strong experience with CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment).
• Advanced Tableau experience for reporting and data visualization.
• Advanced Alteryx experience for analytics and data preparation.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
• Pivot Tables
• Advanced Formulas
• VBA/Macros (preferred)
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Manufacturing, or Logistics environments.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting methodologies.
• Experience with demand planning software platforms.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Scripting or automation experience is highly desirable.
