Role description
Seeking an experienced Supply Planner to create and deliver reliable, data-driven supply plans that align with business goals and inventory objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, working across demand planning, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to ensure supply meets forecasted demand. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with deep experience in SAP and supply planning systems. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop and manage global supply plans that align with demand forecasts, inventory goals, and production capacity. β€’ Act as a liaison between demand planning and manufacturing, ensuring supply capabilities align with business needs. β€’ Analyze data points such as batch runs, production lead times, and capacity constraints to drive accurate planning decisions. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional partners in merchandising, sourcing, planning, and analytics to ensure supply chain efficiency. β€’ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply performance and recommend process improvements. β€’ Support ongoing process optimization and drive initiatives to enhance supply planning capabilities. β€’ Communicate supply risks, capacity challenges, and actionable recommendations to leadership in a clear and solution-oriented manner. Required Skills β€’ 5+ years of experience in supply planning, working directly with demand planning and manufacturing teams. β€’ Strong expertise in SAP, including understanding system logic paths, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and managing outputs. β€’ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros). β€’ Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. β€’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. β€’ Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments. β€’ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. Preferred Skills β€’ Experience in Tableau, Cognos, SSAS, or MMX for data visualization and reporting. β€’ Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate complex supply issues to non-technical audiences. β€’ Experience influencing decisions and managing expectations across cross-functional and global teams. β€’ Background in finished goods, short lifecycle, or high-SKU industries such as apparel or footwear. β€’ Proven ability to deliver results through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
