Our client is on the hunt for a hands-on, tech-savvy Support Analyst who enjoys being close to manufacturing operations and solving real-world problems. If you like working in Windows-based environments, supporting end users, troubleshooting systems, and bridging the gap between IT and the plant floor, this role was built for you. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants deep technical exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) while working alongside engineers, operators, and IT teams in a fast-paced production environment. Location: Onsite at a large manufacturing facility in Greenville Job Type: Long-Term Contract (Contract-to-Hire possible, not guaranteed) Pay Rate: $35 - $51/hr (Based on Experience) Travel: Up to 30% (planned in advance with limited international travel possible) Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship) What You’ll Be Doing As a Level 2 MES Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in deploying, supporting, and improving Manufacturing Execution Systems that connect equipment, data, and plant operations. Responsibilities include: Deploying and supporting Level 2 MES systems for new or upgraded manufacturing equipment Partnering with plant teams to understand equipment operation and production workflows Testing systems prior to launch and supporting them during and after go-live Troubleshooting application, system, data, and integration issues Performing minor application updates, configuration changes, and data or SQL script adjustments Providing IT support and end-user troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment Training local users on system functionality and best practices Supporting multiple manufacturing sites as part of a collaborative MES support team Technology Environment The MES platforms you’ll support are primarily built on: Windows Server and Microsoft environments .NET Framework applications developed in C# User interfaces built in ASP.NET (legacy) or WPF Backend databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL SQL used for querying, troubleshooting, and data validation Networked systems utilizing TCP/IP and Modbus protocols Required Experience Background in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience 5–7 years of experience supporting systems in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong experience supporting Windows-based servers and applications Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (C# preferred) Hands-on experience working with databases such as Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, including SQL queries Network troubleshooting experience involving TCP/IP and Modbus communications Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Experience modernizing, upgrading, or improving existing systems Nice to Have Project coordination or project management experience Exposure to manufacturing automation or industrial systems Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Power BI What Makes You a Great Fit This role is a strong match for someone who has experience with: IT support or end-user troubleshooting in a Windows/Microsoft environment Windows Server administration or application support Networking fundamentals (not a network engineer, but solid understanding) SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, or reporting Supporting applications in a manufacturing or industrial setting Working hands-on with systems while collaborating with non-technical users You’ll do especially well here if you are: A hands-on problem solver who enjoys figuring things out Comfortable working directly on the plant floor when needed Someone who communicates well with both technical and non-technical teams Open to occasional, planned travel to support multiple sites Why This Role Is Worth Your Time Competitive hourly pay with long-term stability Exposure to enterprise-level MES systems Real ownership of systems that directly impact production A team environment that values collaboration and problem-solving Opportunity to grow into deeper MES, systems, or manufacturing IT roles Ready to Apply?
