Support Services Engineer

Robert Half is looking for an Infrastructure and Lab Support Engineer for an ongoing contract opportunity that will be 100% remote. This role focuses on backend lab and infrastructure support, enabling secure, stable, and automated systems for fast‑paced internal engineering teams. Key Responsibilities • Support Azure IaaS environments (VM provisioning, storage, networking, RBAC, policy) • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server (patching, performance tuning, diagnostics) • Build automation using PowerShell (onboarding, alerting, remediations) • Create dashboards and alerts using KQL, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics • Manage device configuration and policies through Endpoint Manager / Intune • Support identity operations in Azure AD / Entra ID (MFA, Conditional Access, governance) • Power Automate solutions experience, Power BI reporting and/or ADX Dashboard management • Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and escalation support Nice to Have • Experience with Defender, Sentinel, or other security platforms • Background supporting dev/test or lab environments • Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools • Certifications (AZ‑104, MS‑102, etc.) The salary range for this position is $50.00 to $60.00/hr.
