Role description
Role: Swift Engineer
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ / New York, NY (Onsite)
Required Skills:
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT-oriented systems (GT Exchange, SWIFT Alliance Gateway, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and connectivity concepts.
• Solid experience working on Linux/Unix environments (scripting and troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with Autosys, Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations within SWIFT-based systems (GT Exchange, SWIFT Alliance Gateway, etc.)
• Manage end-to-end application support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data interfaces using Oracle.
• Monitor and automate jobs using Autosys and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations on Linux/Unix environments.
• Work closely with business and operations teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document configurations, workflows, and procedures using Confluence and manage tasks via JIRA.
• Handle incident and change management using ServiceNow, ensuring proper governance and traceability.
