Role description
Systems / Data Analyst – Global Technical Services PMO Location: Remote (U.S.) Duration: 12+ Month Contract We're seeking a Systems / Data Analyst to support a global technical services organization within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. This role is ideal for someone who has built and administered enterprise project management systems supporting R&D, PMO, or Technical Operations. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for project portfolio systems while developing Power BI dashboards, managing SharePoint environments, and delivering executive-level reporting that drives strategic decision-making. This is more than a reporting role, you'll own the systems that enable global project execution. Working across Technical Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Finance, you'll improve business processes, automate reporting, and enhance enterprise platforms using Planisware (or a comparable PPM system), SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, SQL, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Candidates with experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other GxP-regulated organizations are highly preferred. Contract Duration: 12+ Months Required Skills & Experience · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline · 5–8 years supporting enterprise business systems within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated manufacturing organizations · Experience administering Planisware or a comparable enterprise PPM platform (Planview, Clarity PPM, Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.) · Strong SharePoint administration and site development experience · Advanced Power BI dashboard development and executive reporting · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills · Working knowledge of SQL · Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 · Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions · Strong communication skills supporting cross-functional business partners and executive leadership Desired Skills & Experience · R&D Operations or PMO systems experience · Project portfolio management (PPM) experience · Power Apps and Power Automate · GxP or FDA-regulated environment · 21 CFR Part 11 knowledge · PMP certification · Lean or continuous improvement experience · Experience supporting global organizations across multiple time zones What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown · 35% Enterprise PPM Systems (Planisware or equivalent) · 30% Power BI, SharePoint & Microsoft 365 · 20% Data Analysis, SQL & Executive Reporting · 15% Process Improvement, Documentation & User Support Daily Responsibilities · 80% Hands On · 5% Management Duties · 15% Team Collaboration
