T24 Developer

Title: T24 Developer Location: Remote working EST hours Duration: 12 Months Contract. Interview Mode : Phone + Video We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Developer with strong expertise in Temenos Transact (T24) to support data migration and transformation projects. The ideal candidate will design, build, and validate migration scripts and ETL processes to ensure seamless transition of data between legacy and modernized banking systems. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between banking platforms. • Write and maintain migration scripts using Pick Basic, Java, or TAFJ. • Validate and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and integrity. • Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and testing teams to implement and verify migration outcomes. • Conduct unit testing and provide support during system integration (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases. • Document technical solutions and updates using standard project tools. • Communicate development progress, risks, and issues effectively to project leadership. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong hands-on experience in Temenos Transact (T24) or similar core banking systems. • Proficiency in JBASE / Pick Basic / Java / TAFJ for development and migration scripting. • Deep understanding of data migration techniques and ETL processes. • Experience working with Oracle or relational databases for data extraction and validation. • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA). • Solid knowledge of core banking modules such as Customer, Accounts, Loans, Deposits, Payments, and FX. • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in Agile or iterative development environments. Nice to Have: • Prior experience in core banking platform upgrades or modernization projects. • Exposure to DevOps pipelines, test automation, or CI/CD practices. • Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks in financial systems. Soft Skills: • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Capable of managing deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
