Role description
Job Title- Tableau Administrator/Alteryx Administrator
Location: Remote (EST & CST time zone candidates only!)
Duration: 24-months contract
Mandatory Skills and Experience
• Proven end-to-end administration experience with Tableau Server and Alteryx Server, including installation, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery (DR), security configuration, APIs, automation, and firewall
• Strong understanding of identity and authentication providers, such as SAML, Active Directory, and related integration concepts.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals to troubleshoot server-level and user issues.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting performance issues related to Tableau and Alteryx Server assets, including dashboards and workflows (e.g., performance issues with Redshift-backed dashboards).
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with certificate management for Tableau and Alteryx environments.
• Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 production support, including on-call rotations.
Nice to Have
• Experience with AWS, including VPCs, EC2 instances, networking, and certificate management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - GitLab.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
