Role description
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with a strong data science background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in data visualization, SQL development, and Oracle database management, combined with the ability to apply data science techniques for actionable insights. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and business acumen to design and deliver impactful dashboards and data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into effective visualizations. Perform data modeling, ETL processes, and ensure data integrity across multiple sources. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Work extensively with Oracle databases for data integration and performance tuning. Apply data science techniques (predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning) to enhance reporting and decision-making. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau performance and data connectivity. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle databases. Solid understanding of data science concepts (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting). Experience with ETL tools and data preparation workflows. Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence best practices. Desired Qualifications Python or R for advanced analytics. Experience with C-suite level Enterprise reporting Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of performance optimization for large datasets.
