Tableau Developer

Role: Tableau Developer Location: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 06 months (CTH) Pay Range: $65/hr - $80/hr We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tableau Developer to join our growing data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data visualization, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visual solutions. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements. • Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud data platforms, flat files) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as needed. • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability. • Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver effective data visualization solutions. • Develop and implement data governance and quality standards for Tableau assets. • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices. • Conduct thorough testing and validation of data and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, industry trends, and data visualization best practices. • Document technical specifications, design documents, and user guides for Tableau solutions. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience • 7-10 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports. • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases. • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. • Experience with data modeling and data preparation for reporting. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
