Tableau Next Analytics Consultant/ SME Contract | Remote (U.S. – EST/CST/MST) Some travel required Camera-required environment A leading organization is undertaking a major transformation of its analytics platform and is seeking an experienced Tableau Next Analytics Architect to help lead the migration from Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) to Tableau Next. This is a hands-on contract role through the end of 2026 where you will play a key role in designing the future state analytics architecture, building semantic models, and establishing governance standards that will support scalable, enterprise-wide analytics. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data architecture, analytics engineering, and business intelligence strategy while remaining close to the technical work. What You’ll Do • Lead the migration of analytics assets from Salesforce CRM Analytics to Tableau Next • Design and implement Tableau Next workspace architecture to support scalable collaboration and governance • Build and maintain semantic models that translate raw datasets into reusable, business-friendly analytics assets • Define and standardize key metrics and KPIs to ensure consistent interpretation across teams • Refactor legacy CRM Analytics logic into modern Tableau semantic models and governed data assets • Partner with business stakeholders to validate metrics, definitions, and reporting outcomes during migration • Establish best practices for analytics governance, asset reuse, and workspace management • Enable self-service analytics by building trusted semantic layers that reduce downstream data preparation • Guide analysts and developers on how to effectively use Tableau Next workspaces, models, and metrics What You Bring • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud and Tableau Next • Experience designing semantic models and governed analytics layers • Experience migrating or modernizing enterprise BI or analytics platforms • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) environments and migration considerations • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics architecture and reusable data models • Experience defining and governing enterprise metrics and KPIs • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with both technical and business stakeholders Nice to Have • Experience designing domain-based semantic models • Experience implementing analytics governance frameworks • Exposure to AI-powered or conversational analytics environments E ngagement Details Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2026 Location: Remote (U.S.) Candidates must be located in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time zones Travel: Quarterly travel to Atlanta is required during early phases of the project and periodically thereafter Why This Role Is Interesting This is a rare opportunity to help design the next-generation analytics environment for a large organization, rather than simply building dashboards inside an existing one.
