Talend Senior Developer / Technical Lead – Cloud Migration Location: Remote (US) Contract: Contract Opportunity About the Opportunity We are working with a leading global organisation seeking an experienced Talend Senior Developer / Technical Lead to support a strategic cloud data transformation programme. The successful candidate will join a distributed engineering team and play a key role in modernising enterprise data integration platforms, supporting migration activities, and delivering high-quality ETL solutions within a large-scale environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Talend specialist who can combine strong technical delivery skills with team leadership capability. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Talend ETL/ELT solutions. • Support migration and modernisation of Talend workloads into a cloud-based data platform. • Develop scalable and reliable data integration workflows. • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of Talend solutions. • Optimise existing Talend jobs for performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and offshore delivery teams. • Act as a technical lead within a delivery POD, coordinating activities and supporting team execution. • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practice recommendations. • Create and maintain technical documentation. Required Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration development. • Proven experience delivering enterprise ETL/ELT solutions. • Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex data environments. • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and migration projects. • Experience working within Agile delivery environments. • Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with distributed teams. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience • Experience with cloud migrations involving Talend platforms. • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience, particularly within data environments. • Experience with cloud data services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or similar technologies. • Previous experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or POD Lead. • Experience working with offshore engineering teams. • Enterprise-scale data integration experience. About You You are an experienced Talend professional who enjoys working on complex data transformation initiatives and can operate effectively as both a hands-on developer and technical lead. You will be comfortable working with global teams, driving delivery outcomes, and supporting modern cloud data platforms.
