Job description • Develop & Maintain: Create, enhance, and debug applications using COBOL, TAL, C/C++, and Tandem utilities. • Performance Tuning: Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability on NonStop systems. • Collaboration: Work with BAs, QAs, and architects to define requirements and deliver solutions. • System Analysis: Troubleshoot complex issues, debug, and perform performance tuning in Tandem environments. • Documentation: Create technical designs, testing plans, and release notes. • Security: Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance. • Integration: Support integration with other enterprise systems. Essential Skills & Technologies • Languages: COBOL, TAL, C/C++. • Tandem Environment: TACL, Pathway, TMF, Enscribe, FUP, Guardian, OSS. • Databases: SQL/MP, SQL/MX, Enscribe. • Methodologies: Agile, CI/CD, DevOps (Plus).
