Role description
We are hiring a Technical Architect – Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) for a long-term project with a leading global manufacturing firm
Must-Have Skills
• 10–15 yrs experience with BAS/BMS architecture & deployment
• Platforms: Niagara N4 (strong), plus any of JCI Metasys / Honeywell EBI / Siemens Desigo / Schneider EcoStruxure
• Protocols: BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA; SCADA & multi-system integration
• IT/OT convergence: secure network design, VLAN/DMZ, certificates, RBAC
• API & data pipelines: MQTT/REST, JSON, cloud IoT (Azure/AWS)
• Commissioning, FAT/SAT, redundancy, DR planning
• Vendor mgmt, architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD, documentation
Good to Have
• Industrial campuses
• FDD/Analytics, Digital Twin (Azure DT), CMMS integration (ServiceNow/Maximo)
• Python/Node-RED automation
