Technical BSA - S/4 Hana

JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the S/4HANA migration initiatives within the Data & Analytics organization. This role will focus on assessing, defining, and enabling the future state of reporting and data integration across our analytics ecosystem as we transition from ECC to S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities • Lead the assessment of existing ECC reporting and determine requirements for migration to S/4HANA within the Databricks environment. • Develop a comprehensive migration roadmap, outlining effort, dependencies, and technical considerations for D&A reporting. • Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements by partnering with both functional business leaders and technology teams. • Create and maintain a report catalog, including categorization of current reports and mapping to future-state S/4HANA structures. • Document reporting assets across multiple platforms, including: o Power BI o Databricks o Qlik o SAP reporting tools • Translate SAP transactional workflows and data structures into reporting and analytics requirements. • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solution alignment and clarity. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC (HANA) and S/4HANA—including data structures, tables, and reporting implications. • Experience conducting migration assessments, identifying gaps, and providing effort estimates. • Proven ability to perform requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation. • Hands-on experience with transaction codes and SAP data navigation. • Familiarity with modern analytics environments, particularly Databricks and Power BI. • Experience cataloging and categorizing reports across multiple reporting platforms. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both business leads and technical teams. • Ability to bridge functional processes and technical data pipelines. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Background in data modeling or analytics engineering within Databricks or similar cloud platforms. Pay Rate: $60 - $70/hour • this is a 12-month contract to hire
