Role: Business analyst with Databricks and AI/ML
Locations: Pleasanton CA - 5 Days onsite/Week

Job Description:
High-level use case/intake summary
β’ Required to engage external team leadership prior to project start. Key details include
β’ Business case/justification
β’ Implementation proposal including high-level details ensuring compliance data governance and security standards
Architecture Review Board intake slides
β’ High-level use case details
β’ Data classification (e.g. Confidential, Internal, etc.)
β’ Logical system/service interaction diagram
Leadership readout/project summary
β’ Key recently completed project details
β’ Main accomplishments
β’ Improvements/pending opportunities
β’ Performance testing results
β’ High-level upcoming/in-progress project details
Clarifying use case requirements
β’ Additional details confirmed as part of business discussions
β’ How data would be used
β’ Specific data points/documents required to support use case
β’ Where to source data points/documents
β’ Example Q&A pairs for chatbot result validation
Data profiling
β’ Key skills include
β’ Python (pandas, etc.)
β’ SQL
β’ Ability to translate business requirements to technical work; putting together BRDs and augmenting existing ones to drive further clarity and alignment
β’ Strong verbal and written communications skills
β’ Translate technical work from PoCs / technical spikes into findings reports and slides tailored for leadership consumption (e.g. doing a readout to Winston)
β’ Collaborate with engineering and TPMs to keep the projects organized; bonus if they can be a βbackup PMβ with a strong delivery experience
β’ Able to adapt quickly to changes and contribute on multiple workstreams in parallel
β’ UDL for example has many tracks ranging from PoCs like the Iceberg pilot to unstructured data ingestion
β’ Data and AI domain knowledge; great to have some past experience working on a tech stack that overlaps with whatβs used at Client (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, etc.)
β’ Bonus if at least conceptually familiar with data engineering, data science, and AI/ML
