Location: Rochester-55901 (Hybrid β Onsite as needed)

Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a critical network segmentation and security transformation initiative within a large enterprise healthcare environment.
This role will focus on analyzing device communication, documenting technical requirements, and enabling least privilege access controls as part of a broader Zero Trust security model.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that complex technical requirements are clearly documented, validated, and aligned with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Identify and document MSS and Telecom device inventories, including ownership, attributes, and operational context
β’ Analyze and document network communication flows, dependencies, and use cases
β’ Translate technical discussions into:
β’ Business requirements
β’ Technical specifications
β’ Acceptance criteria and validation requirements
β’ Support network segmentation efforts, defining enforcement rules and communication boundaries
β’ Validate implementation by confirming:
β’ Correct device segmentation
β’ Approved communication pathways
β’ Maintain traceability across devices, segmentation rules, and enforcement status
β’ Utilize ServiceNow CMDB as the system of record for tracking and validation
β’ Collaborate with Network, Security, Telecom, and Operations teams
β’ Contribute to standardized documentation, workflows, and procedures
β’ Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions
β’ Support planning, execution, and delivery across the product lifecycle
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
β’ 2+ years of experience as a Technical or Systems Business Analyst
β’ Strong understanding of: IP Networking
β’ Routing & Switching
β’ Firewalls and Network Segmentation
β’ Experience translating technical concepts into clear documentation
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
β’ Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with: Network Segmentation / Zero Trust Architecture
β’ Access Controls / Least Privilege Models
β’ ServiceNow CMDB
β’ Background in infrastructure, telecom, or cybersecurity projects
β’ Experience supporting enterprise-level IT initiatives
