Role: Technical Business Analyst – Eagle STAR / PACE Location: Remote (NJ/NY - Locals) Duration: 6+ months contract Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE to support middle office operations in an investment management environment. This role bridges business and technology, translating investment and performance requirements into effective system solutions. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from middle office stakeholders • Translate requirements into technical specifications, data mappings, and process flows • Support Eagle STAR (performance, attribution, reporting) and Eagle PACE (data ingestion, pricing, transactions) • Analyze and validate end-to-end data flows across Eagle modules • Perform SQL-based data analysis, reconciliation, and issue investigation (pricing, corporate actions, positions, benchmarks) • Support portfolio reconciliation, NAV validation, performance reporting, and security master data • Participate in SIT/UAT testing, test case preparation, and defect tracking • Collaborate with business users, tech teams, and vendor support; provide status updates and issue resolution Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Eagle STAR & Eagle PACE and understanding of Eagle data model • Proficiency in Oracle SQL for data analysis and reconciliation • Experience working in Agile/SDLC environments • Familiarity with Jira / ServiceNow • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE) • Strong domain knowledge in: • Asset/Investment Management (Middle Office) • Performance measurement (TWR, attribution basics) • Securities: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives • Pricing, corporate actions, and benchmark data • Experience: • 6+ years overall • 4+ years with Eagle STAR/PACE in asset/hedge fund environment.
