Technical Business Analyst - Dallas , TX (Hybrid) - Need local Candidate Only Title: Technical Business Analyst Duration: Long term Location: Dallas , TX(hybrid) Job Description: This is with Data Management Team Looking for resource with requirement gathering for DM projects • Agile process • Candidate will be Writing Business process • Candidate will be Working with Technical Team, stakeholders • Could be Data lineage docs to be prepared • Working closely with current BA’s PM’s • 4+ years of technical BA experience needed with agile experience • Few years of SQL experience is required(simple queries work, no development) • Should be able to explain their experience their roles on specific projects , people they have interviewed are not able to articulate • Will be working on multiple projects • Currently using Visio to create documents • First 30 minutes video interview and then 1 hour in-person interview • Oracle and SQL server databases mainly • Could be involved in projects like Evaluating MDM tool, inherited companies ODS databases projects on that • 2-3 days onsite, whole team is coming on Thursdays. Job Description: Primary responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst include overall coordination and follow up of requirements gathering for Data Management related projects, writing Business Requirements as needed for Agile projects, along with assisting in writing Technical Design and Data Lineage Documents. This candidate will also be responsible for tracking the progress of projects and related tasks, which will include tracking follow-ups from meetings, assessing the status of related JIRA tasks and coordinating planned releases. Responsibilities • Liaison between business users and technical team • Schedule business requirements sessions, document meeting minutes and track follow-ups • Write Business Requirement Documents • Assist with Technical Design and Data Lineage Documents • Ensure Technical Design addresses the Business Requirements • Effectively track the progress across projects and ensure business requirements are being followed • Coordinate planned releases and send out release announcements • Assist in creating, tracking and following up on JIRA tickets Qualifications • 4+ years working as a Technical BA • 4+ years working on Agile projects • 2-4+ years of SQL experience (Oracle and SQL Server, MongoDB a plus) • 4+ years of Data Analysis/Trouble shooting • 4+ years writing Business Requirement, Technical Design and Data Lineage Documents • Ability to interpret business requirements into technical requirements • Strong Meeting Facilitator • Must be able to multi-task effectively • Great organizational skills • Excellent communication skills
