We have an urgent requirement for Technical Business Analyst position with our client. Role: Technical Business Analyst Location: Albany, New York Duration: 24 Months Job ID: SLG - 26 - 12039 Client: NY State - Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Description This is a Senior Software Analyst position, and will be working on the JJIS project. This position will provide requirements gathering and analysis, will participate in all phases of SDLC like functional testing and user acceptance testing along with developing documentation for the project. Duties • Work with OCFS staff to document the requirements for the system. • Facilitate meetings with OCFS staff. • Create detailed screen mock-ups to document the UI and user interface. • Write detailed use cases and business flows. • Work in coordination with a team of developers to implement the requirements. • Perform unit testing and document all defects. • Work with business customers to ascertain appropriate help, training, and executive reporting requirements as needed. • The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Lead/Project Manager. Mandatory Requirements • Experience (12+ Years) • Studies the software application domain, prepares software requirements, and specification documents. Liaises between the software users and the software developers. Conveys the demands of software users to the developers. Skills include: working knowledge of software technology; computer programming experience/expertise; general business knowledge; problem solving/reduction skills; interpersonal relation skills; flexibility and adaptability. Requirements • This is an 100% Onsite. • 72 months experience facilitating meeting with users to identify & gather business requirements. • 72 months experience documenting functional requirement, business rules & complex security requirements. • 72 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit & regression testing. • 60 months SQL coding experience writing SQL data queries for extraction and/or validation of application data. • 48 months experience with SharePoint writing and maintaining team/project documentation. • Bachelor s Degree • R sum • Copy of Candidate Identification (i.e., Driver s License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable) • Any documents referenced in the above Requested Qualifications (i.e., professional certifications, degrees, etc.)
