• We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on the end-to-end customer journey within the credit card fraud and non-fraud space. This role is pivotal in understanding, documenting, and improving customer experiences, with a strong emphasis on translating business needs into actionable use cases and test scenarios. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including design, operations, analytics, software engineers, and architects—to deliver robust solutions that enhance our customers’ journey and safeguard against fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build a detailed understanding of the customer journey for credit card fraud and non-fraud scenarios.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (design, operations, analytics, engineering, and architecture) to define business requirements and translate them into detailed use cases.
• Break down complex journeys into granular, actionable test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with software engineers to design, build, and maintain automated test suites that ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment across teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Production Analyst, or similar role, preferably in financial services or payments.
• Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, analytics, and engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to break down business processes into detailed use cases and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and working with engineers to develop test suites.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of credit card fraud detection, prevention, and non-fraud processes is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong organization, documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and test automation platforms.
• Understanding of Credit Card Payment Network and related regulatory requirements.
• Prior experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
Nice to haves:
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of project delivery timelines and workstream dependencies.
• Experience developing and maintaining a Gantt chart that accurately reflects sequencing across all workstreams.
• Ability to clearly articulate critical paths and their implications to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
