Job Role: Technical Analyst (Incentive Analyst)
Location: Stamford, CT (4 days/week onsite)
Hiring-Type: Contract to Hire
Job Description:
This role will be instrumental in the standardization phase of our incentive programs and in building advanced performance analytics as part of our new web-based incentive portal.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Define, model, and standardize incentive structures and performance metrics across sales channels
β’ Develop advanced performance analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decision making
β’ Analyze current incentive programs and recommend improvements for clarity, fairness, and effectiveness
β’ Build and maintain complex incentive calculation logic and performance tracking models
β’ Support the design and implementation of the new web-based incentive portal from a business and analytics perspective
β’ Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure backend data and models accurately reflect business rules
β’ Transition and improve existing Alteryx workflows into the new platform
β’ Provide clear performance insights and recommendations to sales leadership and channel partners
β’ Leverage AI tools (including Kiro) to enhance modeling speed and analytical capabilities
β’ Flexibly manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs in a dynamic, agile environment
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience inΒ incentives modeling, sales performance analytics, or commission plan analysis
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex business logic
β’ Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and modeling
β’ Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
β’ Solid understanding of incentive/commission structures and sales performance metrics
β’ Ability to translate business requirements into technical models and clear reporting
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
β’ Proven ability to thrive in a highly agile setting with multiple priorities and evolving requirements
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Hands-on experience with Alteryx or similar analytics platforms
β’ Background in telecommunications, cable, or sales channel performance management
β’ Experience contributing to the build-out of web-based analytics or incentive platforms
β’ Familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation
β’ Exposure to AI-assisted modeling or analytics workflows
