We are Seeking a Technical Business Analyst and project manager to support the firmβs post-trade processing environment for Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor or masterβs degree in STEM fields, MBA, or related discipline(s).
β’ 10-15 yearsβ work experience with IT, process re-engineering, or IT consulting background.
β’ Programming, business analysis, project/program management background.
β’ Liaison with vendors, service providers, technical and functional teams, users, and management.
β’ Hands-on performing gap analysis, managing data, and guiding other resources.
β’ Process mapping/ process improvement experience. Quick learner of new technologies, tools, platforms, and flows.
β’ Familiarity with data warehousing, data loads and processing, and messaging.
β’ SQL query knowledge and programming background.
β’ Experience working with financial services firms, market participants, or equivalent.
β’ Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.
β’ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
β’ Highly motivated, self-directed individuals with the ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
β’ Effective presentation skills, combined with attention to detail.
β’ Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
β’ Collaborative team player and relationship builder.
Job Summary:
β’ Seeking a Technical Business Analyst and project manager to support the firmβs post-trade processing environment for Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms.
β’ Successful candidates must be experienced in identifying and analyzing technology and process problems, developing business requirements and solutions for tactical and/or strategic projects, in collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders across the organization.
β’ The candidate must be technically proficient, able to multi-task well, explain solutions clearly, is well organized, and can work independently with minimal oversight.
β’ Liaise with vendors, service providers, technology stakeholders, users, and management to deliver solutions for Back Office / Operations IT.
β’ Support current post-trade processing platforms and flows. Prior experience in programming, job schedulers, vendor feeds, messaging platforms, documentation, business analysis, and project management required.
β’ Must be able to identify and document gaps in procedures, and create solutions for scalable and repeatable processes, in adherence with the compliance framework and IT best practices established.
Major Responsibilities:
β’ Perform business analysis and project management to understand the requirements for IT projects that help to improve efficiency for new and existing applications related to the Operations department.
β’ Identify, document and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create solutions to mitigate adverse impacts.
β’ Identify, document and remediate gaps in processes and ensure the alignment of IT department with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
