Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Marketing Analytics
Location-Type: Onsite (5 days/week, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 )
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: 6 months Contract-to-Hire
Compensation Range: $60/hr - $65/hr W2

Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong marketing analytics expertise to support a growing data and analytics team focused on improving marketing attribution, KPI reporting, and enterprise marketing data workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
β’ Partner with marketing leadership and analytics teams to gather and translate business requirements
β’ Investigate and troubleshoot marketing data and attribution issues through root cause analysis
β’ Analyze ad spend performance and marketing KPIs including ROAS and attribution models
β’ Work with GA4, inbound lead platforms, and marketing data ecosystems
β’ Support migration efforts from BigQuery/Looker into Snowflake and Power BI environments
β’ Create user stories, document technical requirements, and manage Jira workflows
β’ Trace data issues across systems and identify gaps in reporting or attribution logic
β’ Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and other Client to improve reporting accuracy and processes
β’ Participate in standups and help prioritize and triage incoming requests from marketing stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
β’ 3-7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in marketing analytics environments
β’ Strong understanding of attribution models including first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch attribution
β’ Experience working with marketing KPIs such as ROAS and campaign performance metrics
β’ Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and GA4
β’ Experience troubleshooting complex marketing data issues and performing root cause analysis
β’ Working knowledge of SQL and querying raw data in platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake
β’ Familiarity with Power BI and modern analytics/reporting tools
β’ Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing Jira boards
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
β’ Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Virginia Beach, VA
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with inbound phone call attribution or call tracking ecosystems
β’ Exposure to construction, home services, or lead-generation-focused industries
β’ Experience supporting enterprise data migration initiatives
β’ Familiarity with Looker or legacy marketing reporting environments
β’ Experience working in highly customized or fragmented ( "Frankensteinβ) data ecosystems
