Role description
Our client, Industry Descriptor is seeking a Technical Business Analyst - Power BI/ Microsoft Fabric to join their team. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be part of the supporting teams focused on operational excellence and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Power BI/ Microsoft Fabric - REMOTE Location: Remote Pay Range: $37.32/Hour on W2 ONLY (NO C2C) What's the Job? - Establish and manage request intake, triage, and reporting processes for GSA engagement requests. - Gather requirements, translate them into repeatable processes, metrics, and dashboards using Power BI and related tools. - Maintain high data quality across Dataverse, Fabric, Power BI, and Excel inputs, ensuring data governance standards are met. - Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recurring leadership reports. - Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making. What's Needed? - Minimum of 18 months of experience in business analysis, reporting, or related roles. - Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, measures, and visualizations. - Experience with Dataverse tables, data quality practices, and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric concepts. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. - Knowledge of process mapping, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management.
