Role description
Role and Overview of the Role:
β’ Role is intermediary technical between onshore and offshore business partners
β’ Interacting with business partners of Global Warranty, working with Product Quality team as well
β’ Working with Operation Lead as well as PM in the main team
β’ Working with business partners, user acceptance testing, and DevOps
β’ 5 days a week in office
β’ Not a highly technical role
β’ Peoria is preferred, but relocation is fine

β’ Open to JIRA or other similar tools to DevOps is also fine
β’ SQL is a great plus
β’ Any sort of business-related role interacting with both technical and business partners experience is a plus
Typical task breakdown:
- Communicate effectively with the Parts pricing team to understand their requirements and/or to improve current solutions. Perform and lead business process analyses.
- Set priorities and establish a work plan with business partners, managers and technical teams to complete broadly defined assignments and achieve desired results.
- Gather and consolidate feedback from business partners.
- Coordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design and development
- Identify, document, and report design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs.
- Answer business partners and managersβ questions; provides guidance and support for product integration.
- Support and train business partners, leaders, and subject matter experts.
- Ensure that the future solution is achieved in compliance with internal policies and procedures and external laws and regulations (SoX).
- Lead user acceptance test scripts and write training documents/job aids and work closely with business partners to help them perform UAT. Provide regular status on testing progress and provide feedback to the development team.
- Provide expert advice to IT and business leaders on enterprise business processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical discussions, and influence decision-making.
- Adapt to diverse business climates.
- Participate on 2-3 projects concurrently if required.
Interaction with team:
- Early hire to get onboarded for preparation for next year. Guessing around 25-30 folks in totality they will be working with.
Work environment:
5 days onsite
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's and masterβs degree with 5-7 years of experience in business processes and systems.
- Associateβs degree with 10 yearsβ experience
Technical Skills:
(Required)
- Previous similar experience as business analyst for the development of large and complex IT solutions and be familiar with IT Development using Agile methodology as well as the various programming languages used at Client (for example : Java, Postgre SQL, AWSβ¦).
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills being able to explain conclusions to our business partners.
- Should be able to work with offshore teams and provide leadership.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and the agile development lifecycle; ability to utilize formal agile methodologies, disciplines, practices and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced applications
(Desired)
- Top candidates will have previous experience as a software engineer (in Java or similar).
- Off the shelf solution is a plus. (e.g. Salesforce is an example)
Soft Skills:

- Good human relation skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with business partners and IT teams.
- Must have a passion for enabling change
