Role description
Technical Business Analyst
Stratfield is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical data analysis, system implementation, and product configuration workflows. This role is responsible for translating product requirements into structured data, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the seamless deployment of updates across a complex ecosystem.
This is an ongoing contract position that will be hybrid in Atlanta. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret new product requirements and convert them into precise technical data specifications.
• Build and maintain complex data structures with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts involving JSON, SQL queries, client systems, and Excel to quickly resolve production issues.
• Develop a strong understanding of how data contributes to customer experiences.
• Assess upstream and downstream impacts by understanding architectural data flow.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance through detailed testing scenarios prior to deployment.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical documentation and Jira tickets.
• Participate in on‑call rotations supporting early morning and evening hours to resolve urgent system needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in data analysis, system implementation, or a technically similar role.
• Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data flow principles.
• Proficiency with JSON and experience troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Experience using Jira or similar tools for task management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach with the ability to apply subject‑matter expertise to ensure system stability.
