Job Title: Technical Business Analyst W2 Only Contract position 5 years banking domain experience must Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, regulatory-compliant, and customer-centric solutions. This is a remote, work at home opportunity in the U S. Key Responsibiliti es: Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for BFSI applications, platforms, and integrati ons.Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and process fl ows.Collaborate with architects and developers to design API integrations, data flows, and system interacti ons.Analyze regulatory, compliance, and security requirements specific to BFSI syst ems.Support core banking, payment systems, lending platforms, digital channels, or insurance applications analy sis.Perform data analysis (SQL, Excel, BI tools) to support requirement validation and decision-mak ing.Coordinate with QA teams to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and UAT proces ses.Serve as liaison between business units, technology teams, and third-party vend ors.Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of requireme nts.Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectiv es).Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FinTech sec tor.Required qualificati ons: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related f ield.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 3+ years in BFSI do main.Strong understanding of banking/insurance processes (core banking, payments, risk & compliance, digital chann els).Experience with API-based integrations, microservices, and modern application architect ures.Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for requirement valida tion.Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Ra lly).Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, sequence diagrams). Understanding of software engineering principles and processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, DevOps) and continuous improvement through measure ment.Preferred Qualificat ions: Demonstrates judgment and flexibility - positively deals with a shifting demand for time, priorities, and the rapid change of environ ments.Takes an ownership approach to engineering and product out comes.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR, SOX).Exposure to API Management, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure /GCP).Experience in data migration, transformation, or modernization programs in BFSI.Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, Scrum Master, or Agi le BA.
