Role description
The Technical Business Analyst acts as the liaison between business, analytics and technology development teams actively managing the development, delivery, and maintenance of internal and external data sets. This position leads detailed requirement gathering, and translation of business requirements into detailed functional specifications, while also focusing on data management and data integrity to supports key reporting deliverables. This role will be responsible for managing business and technical requirements, data and issue troubleshooting and support when issues are identified.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience in implementing and managing data exchanges involving customer PII while also having strong analytical and logic skillsets to analyze substantial amounts of data. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
Technical:
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical specification documentation.
• Define and document end to end processes and supporting data flows.
• Provide deep technical insight, implementing technical improvements as needed.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Collaborates with Testing/QA team in the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinates and performs tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes/systems, and other post implementation support.
• Measure, monitor and communicate technology performance of applications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring security and compliance protocols are followed.
• Proactively identify and mitigate or troubleshoot system issues.
• Identify and escalate risks and key issues to management for prompt resolution, propose resolutions and mitigations.
Data:
• Data Management: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting substantial amounts of data.
• Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy and quality and quality control.
• Reporting: Support development of data-driven reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Data Tools: Utilizing databases, spreadsheets, and statistical software to manage and manipulate data.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Analytical: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualization preferred.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of CRM like platforms and internet lead technologies.
• Maintain and enhance API integrations between FordDirect's systems and new/existing vendors.
• Collaborate with internal and external, Architects and Senior Developers for all changes.
• Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Follow-through mindset to uphold a 'close the loop' culture.
• A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics and project a professional image.
