As a Technical Business Manager, you will be an integral part of the Technology Department supporting executive leadership and cross-functional teams across the IT organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to strategic planning and operational excellence, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Technical Business Manager Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC Pay Range: Competitive This is a potential "contract to hire" opportunity with a grown IT group What's the Job? โ€ข Support executive leadership in daily operations and strategic planning of the technology function. โ€ข Prepare, track, and manage strategic initiatives, OKRs, and departmental goals. โ€ข Build and maintain high-quality dashboards, business updates, and decision-support decks for senior stakeholders. โ€ข Manage budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning in partnership with Finance and HR. โ€ข Oversee key technology programs and projects, ensuring milestones and risks are tracked and reported effectively. What's Needed? โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. โ€ข 8+ years of experience in a technical business management, COO office, or business analyst role within a technology or financial organization. โ€ข Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and operating in fast-paced environments. โ€ข Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data visualization skills. โ€ข Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments, technology governance, and strategic project management.
