Here are the details: Position: Technical Data Analyst Client: Commonwealth of MA (EHS) Location: Boston, MA Duration: Thru 6/30/27 (with possibility of extension) Pay rate: $62-$65/hour Description of Role and Responsibilities: The Commonwealth of MA is looking for a Technical Data Analyst to support enterprise data quality, migration and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing, profiling, cleansing, validating, and transforming large datasets while developing reporting and integration solutions to support business and technical teams. • Data Quality & Analysis • Perform data profiling and quality assessments to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and validation issues across enterprise datasets. • Analyze data completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and validity. • Design and execute data cleansing, standardization, transformation, and reconciliation activities to improve data quality. • Develop automated validation routines to compare source and target datasets and identify data issues. • Reporting & Analytics • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI. • Develop KPIs and visualizations to track data quality, migration readiness, and operational performance. • Analyze data quality metrics and communicate findings through executive dashboards and technical reports. • Data Migration & Documentation • Create and maintain data mapping documents, conversion templates, validation templates, reconciliation reports, and data quality scorecards. • Support enterprise data migration initiatives by ensuring accurate transformation and movement of data between systems. • Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, mappings, and validation activities. • Automation & Technical Development • Develop scripts and automated processes using SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies. • Automate data cleansing, validation, transformation, reconciliation, and exception reporting processes. • Support database analysis and data modeling activities within enterprise environments. • Integration & API Support • Support API integrations and enterprise data exchange using MuleSoft and REST APIs. • Assist with API testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. • Work with JSON, XML, and enterprise integration patterns to support data connectivity. • Support integrations with cloud applications, including CRM platforms such as Salesforce. • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with business and technical teams to define data requirements and quality standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to support enterprise data governance and lifecycle management initiatives. • Participate in Agile delivery environments and contribute to project planning and execution activities. • Preferred Experience • Salesforce CRM implementation, migration, or data quality experience. • Experience with ETL and enterprise data integration tools. • Familiarity with Cloudingo, DemandTools, Informatica, Talend, or similar data quality platforms. • Experience working within healthcare, provider, payer, or other regulated industries. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data management in enterprise environments. • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data lifecycle management. • Strong SQL skills and experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. • Experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI. • Experience supporting MuleSoft integrations and REST APIs. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
