Role description
Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager (Governance & Operations) to join their team. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will bridge the gap between high-level enterprise governance and technical execution. Supporting the Governance & Operations team, you will drive governance and operational maturity across a portfolio of 200+ applications. This role combines the organizational rigor of a Project Manager with the analytical mindset of a Technical Analyst. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), driving application resiliency efforts, and acting as a surrogate Product Owner/Scrum Master for internal tool development. Required Qualifications β€’ Advanced experience with Jira (or equivalent) for tracking sprints, kanban boards, and long-term epics β€’ Strong technical writing skills to translate complex governance mandates into actionable user stories and documentation β€’ Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance deadlines β€’ Analytical skills to synthesize data from tools such as Archer, ServiceNow, and Coupa Preferred Qualifications β€’ Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Kanban Management Professional (KMP) β€’ Experience building dashboards in Power BI or advanced Excel (Pivot Tables/Power Query) to report on compliance metrics β€’ Proficiency in designing complex SharePoint lists to facilitate audit gap analysis and evidence/attestation capture β€’ Experience leveraging Power Automate to create automated notification workflows and integrating SharePoint data with other enterprise tools β€’ Experience managing developers working on AI-driven features or automated workflows β€’ Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of a large banking institution β€’ Understanding of API-led connectivity or how data flows between SaaS platforms β€’ Ability to visualize and document business processes using tools like Visio Key Responsibilities β€’ Track and ensure 100% compliance for 70+ application owners regarding new Technology Operating Model requirements (NFRs) and other enterprise governance requirements β€’ Support enterprise initiatives to document and validate failover and recovery capabilities of third-party applications supporting Critical Business Services β€’ Act as the primary Project Manager/Analyst for a proprietary Vendor Management application, managing integrations with source systems (Archer, ServiceNow, Coupa Core) β€’ Maintain the team’s backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, technical dependencies are identified, and progress is transparently reported to leadership
