Role description
Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager (Governance & Operations) to join their team.
As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will bridge the gap between high-level enterprise governance and technical execution. Supporting the Governance & Operations team, you will drive governance and operational maturity across a portfolio of 200+ applications. This role combines the organizational rigor of a Project Manager with the analytical mindset of a Technical Analyst. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), driving application resiliency efforts, and acting as a surrogate Product Owner/Scrum Master for internal tool development.
Required Qualifications
β’ Advanced experience with Jira (or equivalent) for tracking sprints, kanban boards, and long-term epics
β’ Strong technical writing skills to translate complex governance mandates into actionable user stories and documentation
β’ Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance deadlines
β’ Analytical skills to synthesize data from tools such as Archer, ServiceNow, and Coupa
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Kanban Management Professional (KMP)
β’ Experience building dashboards in Power BI or advanced Excel (Pivot Tables/Power Query) to report on compliance metrics
β’ Proficiency in designing complex SharePoint lists to facilitate audit gap analysis and evidence/attestation capture
β’ Experience leveraging Power Automate to create automated notification workflows and integrating SharePoint data with other enterprise tools
β’ Experience managing developers working on AI-driven features or automated workflows
β’ Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of a large banking institution
β’ Understanding of API-led connectivity or how data flows between SaaS platforms
β’ Ability to visualize and document business processes using tools like Visio
Key Responsibilities
β’ Track and ensure 100% compliance for 70+ application owners regarding new Technology Operating Model requirements (NFRs) and other enterprise governance requirements
β’ Support enterprise initiatives to document and validate failover and recovery capabilities of third-party applications supporting Critical Business Services
β’ Act as the primary Project Manager/Analyst for a proprietary Vendor Management application, managing integrations with source systems (Archer, ServiceNow, Coupa Core)
β’ Maintain the teamβs backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, technical dependencies are identified, and progress is transparently reported to leadership
