Job Title: Technical Lead, Full Stack Development Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Visa : GC / USC Job Description: Position Summar yWe are seeking an experienced Technical Lead, Full Stack Development to lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The successful candidate will be expected to actively write production-quality code, build APIs and integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, review code, and guide other developers . The ideal candidate has strong experience delivering scalable application solutions and working across both front-end and back-end technologie s. This role will support a manufacturing-focused organization and may contribute to digital initiatives involving plant systems, data collection, MES, and shopfloor connectivity. Prior Industrial IoT experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate should be willing to deepen their knowledge of IoT connectivity concepts and best practices and progressively take ownership of this area while collaborating with business and technical tea m s. Key Responsibilit β€’ iesServe as a hands-on technical lead who actively designs, develops, tests, debugs, and maintains production applicatio β€’ ns.Write high-quality code across front-end, backend, API, database, and integration laye β€’ rs.Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applicatio β€’ ns.Provide technical direction and make key decisions related to application architecture, solution design, development standards, and technology selecti β€’ on.Build responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions using frameworks such as Angular or Rea β€’ ct.Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using .NET and related technologi β€’ es.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical and maintainable solutio β€’ ns.Design and maintain REST APIs and integrations between enterprise systems, databases, manufacturing platforms, and external servic β€’ es.Define coding standards, reusable components, shared libraries, design patterns, and development best practic β€’ es.Review technical designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainabili β€’ ty.Balance technical leadership responsibilities with direct coding and delivery commitmen β€’ ts.Support development planning, technical estimation, prioritization, and delivery executi β€’ on.Support digital initiatives involving MES, plant systems, data collection, and shopfloor connectivi β€’ ty.Learn and apply IoT connectivity concepts, integration patterns, and best practic β€’ es.Progressively take ownership of the IoT connectivity area, including technical standards, solution design, documentation, and support practic β€’ es.Work with cross-functional teams to support reliable and secure data exchange between connected syste β€’ ms.Lead the setup of a standardized container-based development environment for the TWB development te β€’ am.Define the tools, configurations, templates, and practices needed to build, run, debug, and test containerized applications consistent β€’ ly.Create reusable Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes configurations that support local development, testing, and deployme β€’ nt.Establish standards for dependency management, environment configuration, security, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooti β€’ ng.Create setup guides, onboarding materials, technical documentation, and support procedur β€’ es.Train and mentor developers on full stack development, container-based development, and software engineering best practic β€’ es.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve build, testing, deployment, and release process β€’ es.Implement secure authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error-handling practic β€’ es.Troubleshoot complex issues across front-end, backend, API, database, integration, container, and deployment laye β€’ rs.Maintain interface specifications, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and support runboo β€’ ks.Promote strong engineering practices through code reviews, testing standards, documentation, and continuous improveme β€’ nt.Stay current with modern application development, cloud, DevOps, manufacturing technology, IoT, and AI-enabled development practic e s. Qualifications and Experie β€’ nceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experien β€’ ce.8 or more years of experience in enterprise application developme β€’ nt.Demonstrated ability to remain hands-on with software development while providing technical leadership and mentori β€’ ng.Strong recent experience writing production code across full stack application laye β€’ rs.Experience leading technical design, architecture, development standards, and delivery for complex applicatio β€’ ns.Strong hands-on experience developing modern front-end applications using frameworks such as Angular or Rea β€’ ct.Strong backend development experience using .NET, .NET Core, or ASP.NET Co β€’ re.Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST AP β€’ Is.Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and C β€’ SS.Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Orac β€’ le.Experience with Git and modern source control practic β€’ es.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practic β€’ es.Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernet β€’ es.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing container-based development environments for software tea β€’ ms.Experience establishing reusable development templates, local debugging workflows, documentation, and onboarding processes for containerized applicatio β€’ ns.Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and scalable application developme β€’ nt.Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple application laye β€’ rs.Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadersh β€’ ip.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skil β€’ ls.Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholde r s.
