Role description
Position: Technical LeadLocation: Dallas, TXDuration: 6 MonthsSalary: $55/hr - $65/hr Job Description We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with over 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, and agile delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise combined with leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end technical delivery across analytics, reporting, and data management initiatives. Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL pipelines to ensure performance and scalability. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Write and maintain robust Python scripts for automation, data transformation, and analytics processes. Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices in delivery and quality. Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and success criteria. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with architectural and security standards. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in technical leadership, data analytics, or software development roles. Expertise in Advanced SQL for data extraction, optimization, and complex query development. Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive and visually compelling dashboards. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in automation, data analysis, or data engineering. Proven track record of leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and backlog management. Strong business acumen and ability to bridge technical and functional requirements effectively. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins). Familiarity with data governance, quality, and security frameworks. Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
