Job#: 3031293 Job Description: Technical Product Owner - AI Location: Bothell or Bellevue Washington (Hybrid) Employment Type: 2 year Contract Role Overview This role is focused on leading an AI transformation by defining the strategy for leveraging Copilot and related AI productivity platforms. As the Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy, development, and management of AI-driven productivity tools. You will collaborate with IT, Data Operations, IT Security, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize features that utilize generative AI to enhance employee productivity. Key Responsibilities • Manage the AI/Copilot lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap development to deployment and governance. • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for AI-enhanced productivity. • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical specifications for development teams. • Create and maintain a strategic roadmap for the AI productivity platform, aligning it with broader digital transformation initiatives. • Prioritize the product backlog and future rollouts based on business value, technical complexity, and resource constraints. • Partner with IT infrastructure, operations, and data teams to ensure seamless integration of new AI capabilities. • Define acceptance criteria and success metrics, and oversee the testing and validation of AI features. • Support the rollout of new AI tools by organizing training, developing adoption assets, and driving user engagement. • Continuously monitor the performance and usage of AI tools to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data & Analytics, or a related field is required. Experience: A minimum of six years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or in a similar role within an agile environment. Demonstrable experience with a prior Copilot rollout is required. Technical Skills: Deep practical experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and the broader M365 ecosystem. Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, cloud-native architecture, and API integrations is necessary. Familiarity with AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices is expected. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with prompt engineering or configuring AI model outputs to meet user needs. • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), data privacy, and security best practices. • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Enterprise Administrator Expert are advantageous. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated compensation range for this position is $80 -$90/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible employees.
