Technology - Business Analyst
Location: Celebration, Florida (Onsite 2 days hybrid)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Senior Business Analyst to support an active Workflow Engine Replacement (WFER) delivery effort. This role may transition into ongoing application sustainment for Crew Technology. The selected candidate will join an in-flight development program to understand existing BPMN workflow designs and support implementation, testing, backlog management, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, analyze, and validate BPMN 2.0 workflow models and business processes for WFER and related automation needs.
• Support workflow design reviews, business rules validation, approvals, routing logic, and exception handling.
• Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for new systems, enhancements, and integrations.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and supporting artifacts.
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning support, and requirements clarification.
• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to prioritize work and resolve issues.
• Support testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect triage, and release validation.
• Track risks, dependencies, blockers, and change requests.
• Analyze cross-application business processes to identify opportunities for operational improvement and automation.
• Support ongoing application sustainment, production issue analysis, and enhancement intake.
Required Qualifications
Core BA / Delivery Skills:
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise technology solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including backlog management, user story writing, and sprint planning support.
• Experience with complex systems, integrations, vendor management, and distributed teams.
• Experience in testing, UAT, defect triage, release planning, and sustainment support.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
BPMN / Workflow Skills:
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation, BPM, case management, or process orchestration.
• Strong BPMN 2.0 experience, with the ability to interpret, validate, and refine workflow models.
• Experience joining projects already in development or implementation.
• Ability to analyze macro-level business processes to ensure cohesive product outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Flowable is strongly preferred; comparable platforms include Camunda, Appian, Pega, IBM BAW, or Activiti.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, security considerations, and enterprise architecture is preferred.
