New Exciting Opportunity for Test Automation Engineer – Eggplant Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Contract Duration: 6 Months IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI to support automation initiatives across business-critical systems. The role involves designing and executing robust automation frameworks across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with development and business stakeholders. Essential Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Eggplant Functional, including SenseTalk scripting • Experience with Eggplant DAI and model-based automation testing • Solid understanding of automation frameworks and QA methodologies • Experience in functional, regression, and system testing • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum delivery models • Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into automated test scenarios • Experience with defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps) • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills • Experience testing Windows, Web, and client-server applications • CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket Desirable Skills • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments • Exposure to multi-platform testing environments including Citrix and Mainframe
