The role: Trading and Forecast Analyst, London
Location: London, Hybrid – 3 days in the office & 2 days at home
Contract: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Package: competitive base salary
This role combines commercial acumen, analytical expertise, and business process insight to support and enhance the performance of the Learning business. The successful candidate will play a key role in forecasting trading performance, analysing pipeline data, and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse and report on pipeline drivers and conversion to invoicing using Salesforce and other data sources.
• Identify and address root causes of inaccuracies in trading forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve or mitigate issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of business processes that underpin forecasting (from leads to opportunities to invoicing).
• Provide insights from pipeline and forecast data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities, feeding back to Sales and other teams to improve performance.
• Develop new visualisation methods to uncover hidden trends and performance issues.
• Undertake ad hoc commercial analysis and scenario modelling as requested by the Learning CFO, Group CFO, or other senior stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships with Sales Operations, Sales Management, FP&A, BI, and other Finance and support teams.
Experience & Skills
• Experience working with CRM data and managing large datasets; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in business process design or improvement is desirable.
• High attention to detail with solid problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent data visualisation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.

• Enthusiasm for using insights to deliver financial and operational improvements.
