Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Transaction Analyst for a large enterprise client. This role is for a highly analytical professional in a high-volume Retail Billing Operations team, responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of customer order transactions, account maintenance, and monthly billing cycles. The role supports cross-functional collaboration across IT, Marketing, Customer Care, Operations, and external partners to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
β’ Subject matter expertise development across billing, transaction management, and operational systems.
β’ Analytical and technical support delivery to Customer Care, Sales, Billing Operations, and Marketing stakeholders.
β’ Monitoring and correction of incoming billing and transactional errors across multiple systems.
β’ Identification of data trends, anomalies, and root causes to improve accuracy and performance.
β’ Collaboration with external vendors to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
β’ Development and maintenance of process documentation, controls, and operational procedures.
β’ Creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing scripts for system enhancements and product launches.
β’ Development of training materials and enablement programs for operational processes and tools.
β’ Delivery of operational metrics reporting and status updates to key stakeholders.
β’ Support for process improvement, automation initiatives, and system optimization efforts.
β’ Business requirements gathering for new capabilities in partnership with IT and Product Owners.
β’ Promotion of AI tools and digital solutions to improve workflow efficiency and analytical capability.
Qualifications:
β’ 2β5 years of professional experience in operations, IT, consulting, or project management roles.
β’ Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
β’ Working knowledge of competitive retail energy markets preferred.
β’ Experience with SAP CCS/CRM systems, particularly billing or transactional modules.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, or similar database query tools.
β’ Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power BI.
β’ Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, errors, and operational insights.
β’ Experience developing business requirements and supporting UAT processes.
β’ Familiarity with process documentation, workflow analysis, and operational controls.
β’ Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making within billing or transaction environments.
