CNWL is committed to delivering high-quality care to service users and carers. Supporting this ambition, the Central Performance, Information and Business Intelligence Department provides timely, accurate insight to inform decision-making, service improvement and organisational transformation.
As the Trust continues to develop services and improve productivity, there is a growing need for robust analytical support to identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining safe, high-quality patient care.
The postholder will act as the Trust's lead analytical partner for transformation and improvement programmes, working with clinical, operational and transformation teams to develop evaluation frameworks, assess impact, measure outcomes and provide actionable insight. They will select analytical approaches appropriate to the needs, complexity and timescales of each project.
The role will lead the development of a proactive approach to benefits realisation, supporting the evaluation of existing and proposed initiatives. The postholder will adapt methodologies, tools and processes to ensure effective delivery within a structured demand framework.
The Trust continues to invest in digital and business intelligence capabilities. The postholder will maximise the value of these technologies, develop innovative analytical solutions, strengthen benchmarking and insight generation, and support CNWL's ambition to be a leader in the use of data to drive improvement.

Principle Duties
The principal responsibilities and duties of the Transformation and Improvement Analytics Lead include, but are not limited to:
Data Insights and Analytics
• Lead the design and delivery of analytical evaluations for transformation, productivity and service improvement programmes, ensuring benefits realisation and measurable outcomes are demonstrated using appropriate methodologies.
• Make optimal use of the Business Intelligence System(s) and tools to provide the services with high quality analytics that bring together different sources of information to provide a comprehensive and integrated analysis of service performance as well as providing data and insights needed to support decision-making.
• Assess incoming analytical requests and determine the most appropriate analytical approach, balancing methodological rigour with timely delivery and selecting pragmatic techniques that provide robust, actionable insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Manage the development of a suite of business intelligence and analytics reports which will include elements of quality of care, safety of patients, key staff metrics as well as capacity and demand and performance trends to support service improvement and business development.
• Produce high-quality analytical reports and dashboards that communicate programme performance, benefits realisation, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and governance groups.
