Role description
Strategic Staffing Solutions customer is looking for a Treasury Workstation (TWS) Developer to support the delivery of treasury technology projects by contributing to solution design, system configuration, and software development activities within the Treasury domain. In this role, you will focus on bank statement processing, payment integrations, and treasury data transformation, ensuring seamless data flows between banking partners and Treasury Workstation platforms. Key responsibilities: • Analyze business and technical requirements related to treasury operations and banking integrations. • Design, develop, and maintain Treasury Workstation functionality related to bank statement ingestion and payment processing. • Configure and implement parsing, mapping, validation, and transformation logic for various bank file formats. • Develop custom code and stored procedures to support treasury workflows and project requirements. • Build and maintain automation scripts and macros (such as Excel VBA) to improve operational efficiency and data validation. • Support file-based integrations, APIs, and batch processing solutions between treasury systems and banking platforms. • Participate in testing activities, production deployments, and post-go-live support. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures. • Ensure all solutions comply with development standards, quality requirements, and project specifications. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 4+ years of Java development experience, preferably within financial services or treasury systems. • Experience with automation scripting or macros (Excel VBA or similar tools). • Strong knowledge of data parsing, transformation, and processing of CSV, XML, TXT, and similar file formats. • Experience with system integrations, including file-based interfaces, APIs, and batch processing. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Ability to work independently while collaborating within cross-functional international teams. • Proactive, solution-oriented, and delivery-focused mindset. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to have • Experience with bank statement formats such as MT940, MT942, or CAMT. • Understanding of SWIFT messaging standards and financial message structures. • Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, payment processing, or accounting principles. • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or Treasury Workstation platforms.
