Trust & Safety Analyst
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Contract: 7-8 Months
We are seeking a Trust & Safety Analyst to help protect users and strengthen platform integrity by identifying risks, preventing abuse, and improving the operational processes that support global Trust & Safety initiatives. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data, lead project execution, and support the development of scalable solutions that reduce harm and enhance user safety.
What You’ll Do
• Lead well-defined Trust & Safety projects, including planning, timeline tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to identify trends in abuse and operational performance, and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting structures to support ongoing program monitoring.
• Work closely with business analysts, operations teams, policy experts, and data partners to support system integrations and process improvements.
• Manage escalations and operational issues, performing root-cause analysis and driving resolution to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and propose improvements to workflows that increase accuracy, reduce latency, and improve user safety outcomes.
• Act as a subject-matter contact for Trust & Safety operations, providing clarity, documentation, and guidance to global partners.
What You’ll Bring
• Experience in data analysis and modeling, using tools such as SQL, spreadsheets, or BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage timelines and deliverables independently.
• Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working across global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience in operations improvement, workflow optimization, or risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with Trust & Safety, Risk, Security Operations, Compliance, or related environments is a plus (not required).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts as they relate to abuse detection is helpful but not required.
