UDeploy/UCD Engineer – W2 ONLY

W2 ONLY UDeploy Engineer / DevOps Specialist We’re looking for an experienced UDeploy engineer to own and evolve our enterprise deployment platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on installation, upgrades, and architecture of IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UDeploy)—not just day-to-day deployments. What you’ll do: • Lead installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration of UDeploy • Architect and support enterprise-scale deployment environments • Build custom UDeploy plugins and integrations (e.g., ServiceNow) • Automate workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins (JCasC) • Partner with dev and infra teams to drive CI/CD best practices • Support onboarding, licensing, and governance for UDeploy users What we’re looking for: • 4+ years of IBM UrbanCode Deploy experience (install, upgrade, architecture) • Strong scripting/coding (Groovy, Python, Ansible, Bash, Java) • Familiarity with RHEL, Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps), and Jenkins • Bonus: experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm, containerization (Docker), Blue/Green deployments Who you are: • Deep technical background in automation and CI/CD • Problem-solver with strong communication skills • Self-starter who can lead UDeploy strategy and execution With over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
