Job#: 3039619 Job Description: UI5 Developer Location: San Antonio, Texas (On-site) Role Overview We are seeking a UI5 Developer for a role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site five days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment, working independently from high-level functional designs to develop solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop custom applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. • Work within an S/4 HANA environment to build new solutions. • Utilize Business Application Studio (BAS) and GIT for development. • Work with OData v4, REST APIs, and CDS-based annotations. • Understand and apply modularized ABAP code. • Operate independently with minimal guidance to deliver solutions based on high-level functional designs. Required Qualifications • Experience building custom UI5 applications; previous projects must be custom UI5 development, not primarily Fiori-based. • Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS). • Experience in an S/4 HANA environment. • Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code. • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts. • Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views. • Experience with Fiori Elements. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in delivering complex ABAP developments independently. • Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices. • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of CDS views. • Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.
