Position: Sr. Developer, EPICOR CMS 6.1 Position Type: Contract: 6 months (extendable) No. of Positions: 2 Location: US and Canada (REMOTE) Position Description This is a great opportunity for two experienced Epicor CMS 6.1 Sr. Developer Consultants with strong development and testing skills to design, build, and support solutions on IBM i (ILE RPG, CL, SQL/DB2). The key project will be the migration from SAP to Epcor. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing integrations (EDI/Trusted Link), labeling/serialization, and scanner workflows in manufacturing and supply chain operations. It is a remote opportunity where you can work with current technologies to support clients’ requirements. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and test Epicor CMS 6.1 solutions, including customizations, configurations, and integrations. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical designs, and implement system configurations and customizations. β€’ Implement and maintain EDI/Trusted Link integrations and serialization/labeling workflows. β€’ Support scanner-based workflows and develop solutions for production reporting, inventory management, and shipping/logistics processes. β€’ Engage in unit/integration testing and CRP/UAT. β€’ Perform data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of migrated data. β€’ Create clear documentation and provide end-user training to facilitate smooth user adoption. β€’ Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to cutover and hyper-care. Skills and Requirements β€’ Minimum 8 years of IT experience, solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and change management processes. β€’ Minimum 4 years of experience in Epicor CMS development and implementation. β€’ Strong technical knowledge of Epicor CMS 6.1, IBM i (ILE RPG, CL, SQL/DB2). β€’ Solid background in supply chain/manufacturing processes (O2C, P2P, inventory management). β€’ Experience in EDI/Trusted Link integrations, labeling/serialization, and scanner workflows. β€’ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills. β€’ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment. β€’ Working in the EST time zone. β€’ SAP experience and EPICOR Certifications are nice to have. β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
