Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist & AI/ML SME to support our cybersecurity risk team. This role focuses on streamlining processes, improving risk detection, and enhancing decision-making through data-driven solutions. The position involves automating workflows, building predictive models, and extracting actionable insights from complex security and risk datasets.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, create, configure, and deploy automated systems combining AI, ML, and other tools to support real-time or near-real-time risk monitoring.
• Analyze large, complex datasets such as logs, vulnerability scans, and threat intelligence to uncover patterns and anomalies.
• Understand and analyze repetitive, time-consuming business processes to recommend automation solutions.
• Write and update code, build custom scripts, and integrate AI models into existing infrastructure to automate manual risk assessment and reporting processes.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and optimize automation performance, troubleshoot errors, and ensure system scalability.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in multiple scripting/coding languages and API use.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Tools, GRC tools, Databricks, Splunk, SharePoint, ServiceNow ticket generation, and Okta automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), AI/ML libraries, and database administration.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot complex data ingestion and parsing issues.
• Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow optimization.
• Exposure to network security or cybersecurity concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with low-code/no-code tools.
• Experience with an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) platform.

• All candidates must be a US Citizen or a permanent resident.
• Travel outside the United States cannot exceed 6 months within the last five years, excluding military service.
