Role description
Position: Varicent Developer Location: Chicago, IL – Onsite Type of Employment: 12+ Months Contract Role Description: 1. Varicent Development & Configuration • Design, configure, and maintain Varicent Incentives modules, including: • Compensation models • Components, rules, and calculations • Data tables and data integrations • Workflows and approval processes • Build and optimize ICM models to support incentive plan changes and business needs. 1. Data Management & Integration • Manage ETL processes for loading and transforming sales/HR/finance data. • Create and maintain robust data pipelines for accurate, timely compensation processing. • Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis. 1. Reporting & Analytics • Develop dashboards and reports within Varicent (Composer, Presenter, or other modules). • Provide insights on sales performance, incentive payouts, quota attainment, and trends. • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation analytics to leadership. 1. Support & Operations • Execute monthly/quarterly compensation runs, validations, and reconciliations. • Resolve system issues, calculation discrepancies, and user queries. • Work with cross functional teams (Sales Ops, Finance, HR) to support compensation cycles. 1. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain documentation for models, rules, data flows, and integrations. • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls. • Assist with UAT, testing, and deployment of enhancements.
